<div>Princess here, from the People's Republik of DOOM (aka Camp of Doom, aka Concentration Camp) in Austin TX. Since we're building the temple this year here in town, it looks like the wife and I may take our first trip out to Burning Man. We've done a dozen burns, but never the Nevada Regional. <br/> <br/>We're definitely leaning towards camping with an established theme camp out there since we'll be packing light and remembered getting a message from Steve here (I think we share a last name even?) a couple years ago. Any complicated bureaucratic forms we should fill out or information we should know? <div>Thrift Town in Carmichael on Fair oaks next to California Family Fitness is putting out Halloween costumes and crazy clothing just for Burners. <br/>We have one rack going out today with a mustard costume black tutu capes Santa hats bunny ears ext. I told them you all will love this so get out there and check out the burners rack at Thrift town, they are also putting out crazy hats for all of you too. The Green Room has been shut down a month early by the city of Reno so we needed to find a new venue. All planes have been in holding pattern as a bit of uncertainly has surrounded the event. In the last few hours the final details are in place and everything has been worked out, just in time! Good thing this didn’t happen right before 2/2 or we may not have been able to pull it off. As it stands we still have two weeks to get the word out and get this place packed! We are asking for HELP. Please please please repost the new flyer and update press release when I get them out ether tonight or tomorrow morning. We have time, but its cutting pretty close… <br/>AS of now, the new venue for the event is going to be at The Underground. <br/>Remi and Slone have graciously booted the other event that was going to be in the space that night in favor of us! <div>Will anyone be interested in hosting or attending Burners Tupperware party? <br/>My husband and I have started selling Tupperware and know how important sealed storage is at Burning Man and we would like to have a big Tupperware party for burners in the Sacramento area. We will be making fresh salsa using the Quick Chef that can be made on the playa and demonstrating many other products that will be beneficial at Burning man. <br/>And in January there are huge incentives for the person that hosts the party, they are giving over a thousand dollars in Tupperware to the host that gets over a thousand in sales at that party.
